Yeah, I saw that article today and I went looking for 2015 Saleen 302 Mutangs on sale and I found one. (Just found a second one on EBay a couple minutes ago.) They may literally be the rarest Mustangs on sale right now and dealers are marking them $4k-5k off to get rid of them.

Also this from their 10-K on EDGAR: “Our cash on hand as of March 31, 2015 and June 30, 2015 was $143,083 and approximately $21,000 , respectively. Given that there are 6 S7 chassii as part of that, I’m guessing they want somewhere in the $2-3mil range, if not more.

The thing is, the S5S should be the modern day Pantera. Build mid-engine supercar, stuff Mustang V8 in it, bing-bang-boom, cocaine for everyone!

As it sits, the intellectual property for designs that are now 8 and 15 years old aren’t worth much. The S7R hasn’t even done any serious racing since 2010.

In short, stick a fork in them. They’re done.
